Governance
Governance of the Briand Group
The group’s governance is exercised through various groups and bodies. This governance method, which is run transversally and at different levels of the company, makes it possible to involve the greatest number and diversity of employees.
Our aim:
- To listen to and integrate the real-life vision in the implementation of the project
- To allow time to step back and work on our main aim “Building better, together”, through the permanent improvement of our methods and tools, but also through the progressive integration of sustainable construction into everyone’s daily life
- To make the smooth running of the group a duty and a resource for everyone. The cross-sectoral entities illustrate and organise the sharing of the keys to success with as many people as possible, the adoption of common practices for greater efficiency, and listening to and welcoming differences.

Our story
70 years of experience in the construction industry
Briand is a family owned business, whose history is rooted in Vendée, in Les Herbiers. From a traditional forge handed down from generation to generation since 1745 to an industrial steelwork company from the 1960s onwards, we have gradually diversified our activities and extended our territorial coverage in France and abroad.
